We all know that the prestigious institutions are concentrated in the urban area but with different plan to respond to the aspiration of the people of the village Sahakar Education And Social Welfare Society established by Shri. Annasaheb Jolle, MP Chikodi, who has made a name for himself on the frontier, is known for his work at the state and National level. The Sahakar Education And Social Welfare Society was Established at Examba in 1995 Under the chairmanship of Mrs. Shashikala Annasaheb Jolle under leadership of women candidates for giving this gem to society. As the name of the society suggest the society doing the progressive work for women over the past several years, with women as directors of the governing body in order to prove that women are not the source of co-operation and the body of society in education.
The society aims to achieve social service through education by setting up varies institutions under Sahakar Education and Social Welfare Society to fulfill the dream of Swami Vivekananda Swami who said “A wake and arise and not stop until you reach the goal”.
The society has more than 18 branches that serve and help in the development of the society and has provided employment to many young people. The society is working day and night for the well-being of society.
It is the Pioneer school of Sahakar Education and social welfare society. In the beginning Shivashankar Jolle Kannada School had only two students and today it has more than thousand students learning there. This school situated across the state border, has made its mark in academic and sports. Smart board facility for enhancing the quality of students is given priority in addition to regular education and curriculum activities. Our students have excelled in the field of cultural and sports activities and have shown their talent not only at the District level but also at the state level
The School has been launched with the sole aim of ensuring that the rural children are able to avail the facilities of getting CBSE system of education which is provided to the urban children with modern amenities in a small village like Examba. The school is accredited by the Central Secondary Education Board Delhi. The visiting committee has certified the school as having international education facilities. At the end of each class, a digital board system is being used to educate children. Smart board are available to every class. Other well furnished infrastructure, Well qualified and quality staff have been provided. Many of our students have reached up to National level in various sports activity.
Basavjyoti Pre University College a well-built place adjacent to Examba - Chikodi Road, is working to give undergraduate college students personality lessons with intellectual development. Skilled experienced lecturers, well-furnished library, Physics, Biology, and chemistry labs are available. Facilities furnished available to urban science students are provided in rural area, getting better results every year.
The institute is not concerned only with academy. To provide a foundation for the construction of professional social workers with concern for social sector, Sahakar education and social welfare society has started Moulana Abul Kalam Azad BSW College at Nanadi. The aim is to educate the students in social work and to provide them with enough experience in the social field to help to make the student in the improvement at large society. Every year a camp is held and aware of social problems deficiencies and address them. This year our three students have obtained Gold , Silver and Bronze medal in Post Graduate MSW examination held by Rani Channamma University.
“Teachers are the wealth of nation” accordingly the responsibility of creating quality teachers for the welfare and the future of student is a top priority. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar College Of Education has been started at Nanadi, this has played a significant role in building up great teachers. Here Female trainees are gaining access to train and have been working in various affiliated institution and different school colleges of our institute. The college has the track record of 100% passing result every year.
The construction work of Siddhojiraje Pre University College & Chatrapati Shivaji Degree College and Shivshankar Jolle Public School is already completed and its a huge infrastructure. 400 meters athletic track is also operational . Already we have conducted Khelo India State level Volleyball Competition on this ground.
National Institute of Management Studies is our organization at Bengaluru. We have ambitiously started this Institute in order to provide BA, BCom, BBA as well as the Master in Business Administration. Women Helpline Center operates 24- hour service to address grievances such as Violence against women Dowry, Sexual, Mental Physical Abuse Family Problem, Rape, and Marital Problems, Property problems, missing cases, illegal Relationship and widow's problems providing a safe place to stay in the office's headquarters for women who have been deprived by families.
